Game 1- Dolphins beat Green- 42-7.
RJ Anderson threw 6 TD passes for Dolphins in a blowout win vs. Green. Dave Sanchez recorded 3 TD’s in the game, and Ryan Ferguson also caught 2 TD’s. Green’s lone TD came on a run by QB Garrett Vose. The Dolphins Jason Shaw also recorded 2 sacks in the game.
Game 2- Red beat Quiet Storm 30-14.
Red came out firing, QB Brian Jarvis threw for 2 TD’s and Joe Butler also threw 2 TD’s via the double pass. Jason Hoyne caught 2 TD’s in the game, and Matt Collins recorded a receiving TD as well. For Storm it wasn’t all bad; QB Laquane Booze threw 2 TD’s to keep the game tight, TD’s caught by Franquan Yearwood and Darrius Rannie. Zach Lockwood also had an INT for Red in the victory.
Game 3- POW beat Realty 28-14.
The defending champs have started out 3-0. Tim Burdick led the way, throwing 4 TD passes and also getting 2 Interceptions on Defense. Realty kept it close with TD receptions from Rick Deenahan and Nick Follo both thrown by QB Tim Shea. POW was too much down the stretch, Ryan Fagan led the way with 3 TD catches to seal this game.
Game 4- Starrs beat Gilo’s 49-7
This was the second blowout of the day. Josh Spence threw 7 TD passes in the game, 3 caught by Ivan Schmidt and 2 by WR Pat Jubrey. Gilos did score late with WR #88 scoring on a nice catch and run over the middle. Lenny Chamberlain recorded 2 INT’s in the game, and Jeff Russell and Ricky Coope also scored a TD each.
Game 5- Reils beat Swarm 28-14
Reils appears to be back on track. Doug Semenuk had another great performance; passing for 4 TD’s in the game. Patrick Luckett had 2 of those TD’s for Reils. Swarm made a good run at a comeback towards the end. QB Joe Adams ran for a TD, threw a TD, and also scored an INT in the game. Brad Tweedlie also recorded 2 INT’s in the game along with a TD grab.
Sunday’s Standout--
Tim Burdick- He threw 4 Passing TD’s and 2 INT on defense in the game of the day.
RJ Anderson- Passed for 6 TD’s in the bounce back win for Dolphins.
Jason Hoyne- 2 Receiving TD’s in a nice win for Red
Dave Sanchez- 3 TD Catches against Green
Josh Spence- 7 Passing TD’s Sunday against Gilo’s
Ryan Fagan- 3 Receiving TD’s against Realty
Doug Semenuk- 4 Passing TD’s in a nice win vs. Swarm
Ivan Schmidt- 3 Receiving TD’s on Sunday
Pat Luckett- 2 TD Catches in the game against Swarm
